Program Cost & Financing

Texas Flight Airline Academy offers a structured, all-inclusive professional pilot program designed to prepare students for airline and other professional pilot careers. We provide transparent program costs and flexible funding options so students can choose the path that best fits their financial situation.

Path 1: Self-Pay

Students who choose to fund training directly follow a structured program payment schedule designed to align with training progression.

The total program investment is $103,040, which covers the academy’s standard airline pilot training syllabus, including flight instruction, ground instruction, simulator training, and program components outlined in the curriculum. Training is offered on a program-based model rather than pay-as-you-go.

A $5,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a seat in the program. This deposit confirms enrollment, initiates administrative processing, and provides the student training kit. The deposit is applied toward the total program cost.

The remaining balance is paid in scheduled installments:

$25,000 — due prior to program start
$25,000 — due 30 days after start
$25,000 — due 60 days after start
$28,040 — final balance due 90 days after start

What the Program Price Covers

✔ Flight and ground instruction within the standard syllabus
✔ Simulator training
✔ Instructor ratings included in the program track
✔ Structured airline-style training system
✔ Student training kit and materials

What Is Not Included

Certain third-party and performance-dependent costs are not included in the program price:

• FAA medical exam fees
• FAA knowledge test (written exam) fees
• FAA practical test (checkride) examiner fees
• Additional training required beyond the standard syllabus due to performance, retraining, or checkride retests

Additional training outside the program syllabus is billed at the academy’s published rates.

Path 2: Full Financing

Students who prefer structured funding may choose to finance their training through our lending partner, Stratus Financial, a lender specializing in professional pilot training programs.

The loan package covers the full training pathway, allowing students to complete the program without upfront out-of-pocket tuition payments. Financing is designed specifically for accelerated professional pilot training and may include tuition, FAA written examination fees, and FAA practical test examiner fees as outlined in the loan package.

Stratus Financial offers training-focused lending structures that may provide deferred payment options, allowing students to complete training before beginning loan repayment, subject to lender terms and approval. This allows students to focus fully on training without managing installment payments during the program.

What the Financing Package Typically Covers

✔ Full program tuition
✔ FAA knowledge test fees
✔ FAA practical test examiner fees
✔ Student training kit and materials
✔ Career preparation components

Important Notes

Loan approval, terms, interest rates, and repayment obligations are determined directly by Stratus Financial. The Academy is not a party to the financing agreement. Any additional training required beyond the standard syllabus remains the responsibility of the student unless included in the approved loan package.
